SPOILER ALERTThe full story below, including the ending.

After his wife gives birth to a boy, a Telmarine Lord named Miraz orders the leader of his soldiers, General Glozelle, to kill his nephew, Prince Caspian, who is the heir to the throne in a kingdom called Narnia. Before they get to him, Caspian’s professor, Dr. Cornelius, hears about this and goes to wake Caspian up so he can leave the castle. Caspian doesn’t understand why he needs to leave hurriedly, but Cornelius explains that his life is in danger because Miraz now has a son.

As Caspian then follows Cornelius through a secret door to leave the room, he stays back and watches Glozelle and his men shoot arrows at his bed, not knowing he’s no longer there. The men eventually realize this, and they start looking for Caspian. Meanwhile, Cornelius gives Caspian a horse and tells him to head to the woods because the soldiers won’t follow him there.

He also gives Caspian a magical horn and tells him to only use it when he’s really in need of help. Caspian then asks if he’ll still see Cornelius again, and his teacher says he hopes so. He adds that there’s so much more he would’ve liked to tell Caspian, and that everything he knows is about to change.

Caspian doesn’t understand this, but before the soldiers find him, he rides the horse out to the woods. As the soldiers follow him, they eventually stop when they get to the front of the woods because they’re scared of the stories they’ve heard about the place being dangerous. Glozelle looks pissed by this, and he tells them to follow him into the woods to find and kill Caspian.

After a while, Caspian loses the soldiers, but he eventually falls off his horse. As he then looks around, he sees two dwarves, Trumpkin and Nikabrik, coming out of a tree house. Caspian cannot believe this because he thought dwarves weren’t real, but Trumpkin and Nikabrik don’t seem happy that he has seen them.

As Trumpkin is about to kill him, he sees the horn on the floor and looks shocked. Caspian doesn’t understand why he suddenly stopped, but as Glozelle and his soldiers head toward them, Trumpkin tells Nikabrik to take care of the telmarine. As Trumpkin heads toward the soldiers to stop them from coming any closer, Caspian picks up the horn and decides to blow it.

Nikabrik tries to stop him, but Caspian still blows it. Elsewhere, in England, a girl named Susan stops at a newspaper stand to read the latest news. Suddenly, her sister, Lucy, comes over to call her because their brother, Peter, is fighting someone at the train station.

As they head there together, Susan looks disappointed to see Peter fighting in public. Suddenly, her other brother, Edmund, joins the fight to defend Peter, but the cops soon arrive to separate them and send everyone away. As the siblings then sit down together at the train station, Susan complains about what Peter did, but he says that the boys hit him first.

He adds that he’s tired of being treated like a kid, and that he doesn’t even know how long they’re expected to stay in England. Susan says he needs to accept that they now live in England, and Peter looks disappointed. Shortly after, the siblings notice that the train station is changing, and they realize that something magical is about to happen.

Suddenly, the train station disappears, and they find themselves in the magical kingdom called Narnia. It then turns out that the siblings are the old kings and queens of Narnia, who left there a while ago. As they go around the place, the siblings realize that Narnia is no longer as great as it used to be. They also figure out that their old castle was attacked and destroyed during a war. Shortly after, they find a cave containing their old weapons, and they pick it up, after which Peter says they need to find out what really happened in Narnia.

Elsewhere, Glozelle returns to the castle with his men. As Miraz sees them, he expects to hear that Caspian is dead, but Glozelle shows him Trumpkin instead. Miraz is shocked by this, and he also learns that Caspian escaped into the woods. Shortly after, he heads to a Council of Lords meeting and sees his other counterparts waiting for him. As he apologizes for coming late, one of them mentions that since Caspian’s dad died, Miraz has been acting like the king even though he’s not the next in line to take over the throne.

Another lord named Sopespian also suggests that Caspian’s recent disappearance is quite suspicious, especially because Miraz’s wife just gave birth to a boy. Miraz denies having anything to do with this, and he tells the lords that Caspian has been kidnapped by Narnians. The Lords think he’s just making things up because Narnia is more like a fairy tale place to them, but Miraz gets Glozelle to bring Trumpkin to him.

The Lords are shocked to see the dwarf, and Miraz tells them that the Narnians have been plotting to attack them for a while. He adds that it’s high time they finish what their ancestors started by killing all the Narnians. Trumpkin looks shocked to hear this, but he just keeps staring at Miraz.

After a while, two of Glozelle’s men are sent to drown Trumpkin in a nearby river. As they’re about to do this, Peter and his siblings stop them and threaten to kill them. The soldiers don’t know what to do, but as they still dump Trumpkin into the water, the siblings kill them. Following this, Trumpkin is saved from the water, and they ask why the soldiers wanted to kill him. Trumpkin says they’re Telmarines, but Edmund doesn’t understand why they’re in Narnia.

Trumpkin asks where they’ve been for the last few hundred years, and Lucy says it’s a long story. Suddenly, Trumpkin stares at them and realizes that they’re the old kings and queens of Narnia. As they confirm this, Trumpkin looks shocked and says that the horn Caspian blew actually worked in calling them. Susan then asks what horn he’s talking about, and it turns out that the horn actually belongs to her. Elsewhere, Caspian wakes up and finds himself in a strange room with a bandage around his head.

He then hears Nikabrik arguing with a badger named Trufflehunter about what to do with him. While Nikabrik believes they need to kill him because Telmarines can’t be trusted, Trufflehunter doesn’t think it’s the right thing to do. As he mentions that Trumpkin knew what he was doing when he sacrificed himself so that Caspian could be safe, the prince tries to run out of the tree house.

Nikabrik quickly stops him and gets him to be calm, and Caspian asks if they’re really Narnians because he thought they were extinct. Nikabrik says he’s sorry to disappoint him, and Caspian then introduces himself to them as the prince of Telmar. Trufflehunter doesn’t understand why he was in the woods, and Caspian explains that he was running away because his uncle wants to kill him now that he has an heir of his own.

Nikabrik doesn’t seem to care about this, but as Caspian is about to leave, Trufflehunter stops him and says that he’s supposed to save them. Caspian looks confused by this, but Trufflehunter asks if he really doesn’t know what the horn can do. Elsewhere, Miraz confronts Cornelius and asks if Caspian knows about Susan’s horn and how it can summon the old kings and queens.

Cornelius says he never told Caspian about it, but Miraz doesn’t believe him, so he gets Glozelle and his men to get the professor imprisoned. Sopespian doesn’t seem to understand what’s going on, but he still looks suspicious that Miraz is up to something. Shortly after, Miraz tells Sopespian to build a bridge that will help his troops gain easy access to find Caspian in Narnia.

Sopespian says he’ll need some more men to get the work done fast, and Miraz orders Glozelle to let some of his men join them. As Miraz then mentions that they need to find Caspian before the Narnians do, Sopespian looks shocked and wonders if they’re real. Meanwhile, Peter and his siblings continue their journey through Narnia with Trumpkin.

Lucy looks sad to see that there’s nothing magical about Narnia again, and she asks how the kingdom’s creator, Aslan, could’ve let something like that happen. Trumpkin says Aslan abandoned the Narnians just like they did, but Peter mentions that they didn’t mean to leave the kingdom. Trumpkin says it doesn’t matter anymore, but Peter tells him that they can still do something about what’s happening if he takes them to the Narnians.

Elsewhere, Trufflehunter advises Caspian to wait until the kings and queens arrive before he starts looking for the other Narnians. Caspian says he needs to do something as fast as he can, but Trufflehunter mentions that he’s not sure the other creatures, like centaurs and minotaurs, will support him. Caspian cannot believe that these creatures are real, and he then asks about Aslan.

Nikabrik and Trufflehunter don’t seem to understand how he knows so much about them, but Caspian explains that his professor used to tell him stories about Narnia. Suddenly, Caspian sees Miraz’s men in the woods, and he runs away with Nikabrik and Trufflehunter. Before they go too far, Caspian notices that the soldiers are falling one after the other, and as he wonders what’s happening, a mouse named Reepicheep attacks him.

Caspian looks shocked by this, but as Reepicheep tries to kill him, Trufflehunter stops him and mentions that the prince was the one who blew the horn to bring them together. Just then, some centaurs show up in the woods, and their leader tells Caspian to bring the horn forward because that’s the reason they have gathered in the woods. Elsewhere, Trumpkin and the old kings and queens see Miraz’s men building a bridge over a river leading to Narnia.

As they sneakily leave the area, Lucy sees Aslan in the woods. Before the others can see him, Aslan disappears, and Lucy looks surprised. Peter doesn’t think she really saw Aslan, but Lucy insists that she did. Edmund says it’s possible that she saw him, but Peter still doesn’t believe this, and they keep walking through the woods. Later that night, the Narnians don’t seem happy to see a Telmarine in their midst, but Caspian says he’s different.

Nikabrik doesn’t seem to get how he would help them, but Caspian says he’s a telmarine Prince, and that if they help him claim his throne, he’ll recover their land for them. The Narnians still don’t seem convinced that he should be their king, but as Caspian says he can bring peace between the Narnians and Telmarines, the leader of the Centaurs agrees to fight for him. Following this, the other Narnians pledge their loyalty to Caspian, and he tells them that they need to find soldiers and weapons to help them in their fight against Miraz.

Elsewhere, Lucy has a dream in which she sees Aslan in the woods. She looks happy to see him and asks why he’s not helping them, but he says that things never happen the same way twice. Just then, Lucy wakes up from her dream and heads to the part of the woods where she saw Aslan.

As she notices someone moving in the woods, she tries to call him, but Peter stops her because he has seen some minotaurs around. Before he then attacks one of them, Caspian shows up out of nowhere and defends the minotaur. As they keep fighting, Lucy eventually tells them to stop, and Peter realizes that Caspian is with the Narnians.

Caspian also realizes that Peter and his siblings are the old kings and queens, and he says he thought they would look older. Almost immediately, Reepicheep welcomes the kings and queens back to Narnia, and he mentions that he has already secured some weapons for them. Peter commends him for this, and he leads Caspian and the others through the woods as they try to decide what to do next.

Meanwhile, Glozelle reports to Miraz that their camp was robbed by some Narnians. Miraz is pissed by this, and as he sees a message from Caspian telling him that he was right to fear the woods, he slaps Glozelle. He also tells Glozelle to kill three of his men to serve as casualties for what happened.

As he’s then about to leave, Miraz tells Sopespian that he believes Caspian is trying to lead the Narnians to fight against them. Shortly after, Caspian and the Narnians stop at an underground hall to plan their next move. Peter then suggests attacking Miraz’s castle when he’s least expecting it.

Caspian thinks the plan is too reckless because no one has ever taken down the castle, but Peter says there’s a first time for everything. Caspian believes they can just stay in the hall, but Edmund says that the Telmarines might just camp outside and wait for them to starve to death. Following this, Peter asks the leader of the Centaurs if his men will be able to handle the guards in the castle when the gates are open, and he says they can.

Interestingly, Lucy believes they should wait for Aslan to help them, but Peter says they can’t do that anymore. Shortly after, he leads the Narnians to the castle, and he sneaks in with Susan, Caspian, Edmund, and some smaller Narnians while the centaurs wait outside the gate. Just then, Caspian checks on Cornelius and realizes that he has been imprisoned.

He tells the others that he needs to save Cornelius, but Peter doesn’t think there’s time for that because he has to open the gates for their soldiers. Caspian says he can’t leave Cornelius in prison, and Peter agrees to let him do what he wants. Susan then tells Peter that they can handle Miraz, while Caspian will open the gates after he saves Cornelius.

Shortly after, Caspian saves Cornelius, but the professor doesn’t understand why he came back to the castle. As Caspian says they need to leave, Cornelius tells him not to underrate Miraz like his father did. Caspian looks shocked as he hears this, and he realizes that Miraz actually killed his father to make it easier for him to claim the throne. Instead of going to open the gates, Caspian heads to Miraz’s room and threatens to kill him. Peter and Susan see him and don’t understand why he didn’t just go down to open the gates.

Miraz’s wife then threatens to shoot Caspian with an arrow if he doesn’t leave her husband. Caspian doesn’t seem to care, and he asks Miraz if he really killed his father. Miraz doesn’t deny this, and even his wife is shocked. He then tells her to kill Caspian so that their son can be the new heir. Even though she initially hesitates, she shoots Caspian’s arm, and Miraz escapes. Peter then heads down to open the gates for the soldiers. Susan doesn’t think it’s a great idea since Miraz’s men are now aware of their presence, but Peter insists that they can still win the battle.

After he opens the gates, the soldiers enter the castle but are immediately attacked by Miraz’s soldiers. During the fight, some of the Narnians are brutally killed, and Trumpkin also gets badly injured. As Miraz orders his men to close the gates so that none of them will escape, Peter realizes that his soldiers can’t win anymore, so he tells them to fall back.

They do just this, but some of them get trapped inside after the minotaur holding the gate gets killed. Peter looks disappointed by this, but there’s nothing he can do to save the trapped Narnians. After a while, they return to the hall, and Lucy asks what happened. Peter tells her to ask Caspian, but he can’t seem to believe that he’s getting blamed for what happened. Peter says he should’ve opened the gates earlier, just as planned, but Caspian also mentions that he could’ve called off the fight instead of letting the soldiers enter the castle.

As Peter says that the Narnians don’t need Caspian, he gets pissed, and they almost start fighting, but they stop when someone shows them that Trumpkin is unconscious. Lucy doesn’t look happy because she sees him as her friend, but she eventually gives him a potion that heals him while Caspian heads into the hall alone. There, Nikabrik tells him that he has a way to get rid of Miraz.

Caspian seems interested in this, and Nikabrik then introduces him to a werewolf and a hag, who says she can summon someone who will help him kill Miraz. Capsian agrees to do whatever is required as long as Miraz dies, and the hag draws a circle around him. She then summons an evil woman named the White Witch.

Caspian looks shocked and tries to back out of the agreement, but the werewolf holds him back. The White Witch then tells Caspian that she just needs a drop of his blood to return to Earth and regain her power. Before he can give her his blood, Peter and his siblings enter the room and fight off Nikabrik and his allies.

After a while, Peter pushes Caspian away from the White Witch, but she then tries to lure him into giving her his blood instead. Just as Peter nearly falls for her spell, Edmund breaks the ice portal she’s communicating through. Elsewhere, the lords in Telmar agree to make Miraz their king after Caspian’s betrayal.

Miraz then instructs his soldiers to pass through the new bridge and head to Narnia to prepare for war against the Narnians. Back at the hall, Caspian asks Cornelius why he didn’t tell him about his father, and he says he just wanted to protect the Prince. He adds that he doesn’t want Caspian to end up like his ancestors because he believes he can be the telmarine who saves Narnia.

Meanwhile, Peter keeps staring at Aslan’s image inside the hall. As Lucy sits next to him, Peter says she’s lucky to have seen Aslan. He adds that he wishes Aslan just gave him some sort of proof that he’s still with them, but Lucy says they might have to prove themselves to him. Shortly after, Peter and the others are informed that Telmarine soldiers are now marching toward the hall. As they decide what to do next, Peter suggests letting Lucy go into the woods to find Aslan.

Trumpkin thinks it’s too risky, but Peter says it’s the only chance they have. Trufflehunter also mentions that Lucy has to go because she’s the only one who still has hope that Aslan can help them. Trumpkin says he wants to follow her, but Peter tells him to wait because they’ll need him. As they then think of how to stall Miraz’s attack, Caspian suggests getting him to engage in a one-on-one battle with Peter. Following this, Edmund goes to Miraz’s camp and informs him that Peter wants them to settle the war with a one-on-one duel.

He adds that if Miraz wins, he’ll be able to take over Narnia without any problems. Miraz initially thinks about refusing, but as Sopespian implies that it will make him look weak, he accepts the challenge. Shortly after, Susan and Lucy leave for the woods to look for Aslan.

Peter also heads to the battlefield to face Miraz. As he arrives, Miraz looks worried and tells Glozelle that if things don’t go well, he has to kill Peter. Just as their battle begins, some of Miraz’s men see Susan riding into the woods with Lucy, and they follow them. After a while, Susan gets down from the horse and tells Lucy to continue her journey to find Aslan while she stays back to fight off the soldiers.

As Lucy leaves, Susan starts shooting arrows at the men, but they eventually knock her down. Before they can hurt her, Caspian shows up in the woods and saves her. Meanwhile, Peter fights well against Miraz, but he soon gets injured. Miraz also gets hurt in the fight, and he looks pissed that Glozelle didn’t do anything. Just as Peter sees Caspian and Susan arriving at the battleground, Miraz asks if he would like to take a break, and he says he wants it.

Following this, the two men head over to meet their teams during the break. As Miraz sits down, he sounds angry as he tells Glozelle that he hopes he won’t let things get out of hand the next time Peter gains the upper hand. Meanwhile, Peter asks Susan about Lucy, and she says that their younger sister is still in the woods looking for Aslan. Peter then tells Susan and Caspian to stand far away from the battleground because he’s not sure Miraz will play fair if he loses the fight. After this, Edmund fixes Peter’s dislocated arm, and he heads out for the next round.

During their fight, Miraz gets the upper hand and beats up Peter quite well. However, Peter refuses to go down easily, and he knocks down Miraz. Before Miraz can stand up again, Peter gets the chance to kill him, but he hesitates. The Narnians tell him not to have mercy on Miraz, and Edmund also encourages Peter to kill him. As Miraz then asks if Peter is a coward who can’t kill him, he says he’s not the one who deserves to do it.

Following this, Peter steps back, and Caspian heads toward Miraz with his sword. Miraz then mentions that he might’ve been wrong about Caspian not being worthy to be king. As he says that his nephew has everything to be a Telmarine king, Caspian refuses to kill Miraz and says that he’s not like him. He adds that he’ll let Miraz keep his life, but he’ll give the kingdom back to the Narnians. As Caspian walks away, Sopespian goes to help Miraz, but he still seems angry and talks about how he’ll deal with Sopespian when the war is over.

Sopespian says it’s already over for him, and as Miraz wonders what he means, he gets killed. Even though Sopespian is the one who stabbed Miraz, he blames it on the Narnians and instructs his soldiers to attack them. The Narnians cannot believe this, but they also fight back.

Before Sopespian’s first group of soldiers get to them, the Narnians inside the hall break off the ground to set a trap for them. This works quite well, but as Sopespian’s other groups of soldiers still attack them, Peter tells everyone to retreat. Before they can enter the hall, Sopespian tells his men to block the entrance.

As they do this, Peter and the others look shocked, but since they have no other choice, they charge toward the soldiers to fight. Elsewhere, Lucy is still riding her horse in the woods, but one of Miraz’s soldiers is following her. Almost immediately, Aslan appears in the woods and kills the soldier. As Lucy sees him, she looks happy and goes to hug him. She then tells him that the Narnians need his help, and even though he initially mentions that he can’t keep coming to save them every time, he agrees to fight for them.

Before they leave the woods, Aslan summons the trees in the magical land to wake up. Back on the battlefield, the Narnians are already on the losing side, and as they start giving up, the trees in Narnia join them in fighting the Telmarines. Sopespian is shocked by this, and as he wonders what to do, one of his soldiers suggests luring the Narnians to the river to finish them off.

Sopespian then tells all his men to head to the bridge. After a while, they get stuck on the bridge when they see Aslan and Lucy standing on the other side. As they realize that they can’t go back because Caspian and the Narnians are behind them, Sopespian tells his men to charge toward Aslan and Lucy.

Before they get close to them, Aslan summons a river god to attack them. As he appears in the river, Sopespian looks shocked, and some of his men try to escape from the bridge, but they all get crushed. Sopespian also tries to fight the river god, but he gets killed in the process.

Following this, the rest of Sopespian’s soldiers surrender to the Narnians, and Caspian, Susan, Peter, and Edmund head over to the other side to greet Aslan. As he tells them to stand up while calling them Kings and Queens, Caspian remains on his knees and says he’s not ready. However, Aslan says he’s ready to be the new king, and Caspian stands up.

Just then, Aslan meets Reepicheep, who gets healed by Lucy after he was initially unconscious. Lucy also introduces him to Trumpkin, and he greets him. Following this, the Narnians return to the castle with King Caspian, and the villagers give them a warm welcome. After a while, Caspian organizes a gathering to speak to all the Narnians and Telmarines. He then mentions that Narnia now belongs to the Narnians, but if any Telmarine wants to live there peacefully, they’ll be allowed to do so.

He adds that for those who don’t want to stay, Aslan will take them to the home of their forefathers, which happens to be England. The Telmarines don’t understand this, but Aslan explains that their forefathers actually used to come to Narnia through a portal in their world. He also mentions that England is a perfect place for anyone who wants a fresh start.

Almost immediately, Glozelle accepts the offer, and Miraz’s wife and another Telmarine lord follow him. Aslan then tells them that since they volunteered first, their future in England will be good. Following this, he creates a portal for them using a tree, and as they go through it, some of the Telmarines look shocked and wonder if the volunteers were just killed.

Since they need proof that the portal is safe, Peter volunteers to leave next. As he gives his sword to Caspian, the new King says he’ll keep it for him until his return. However, Peter says that he and Susan can’t come back again to Narnia.

Lucy doesn’t understand why she and Edmund are the only ones who can come back, but Aslan explains that Peter and Susan have already learned everything they can from Narnia. After this, Peter and his siblings say goodbye to Aslan, Trumpkin, and Caspian. They then walk through the portal and find themselves back at the train station in England. As a train arrives, they walk into it and head for their boarding school.

Even though Caspian didn’t initially know that the Narnians were real, his kind heart, combined with Cornelius’ lessons, made him offer to help them get back their land. The Narnians supported him on this quest, and with the return of the Old kings and queens, Caspian was able to reclaim their kingdom for them. He also proved himself as a good leader, not just by refusing to kill Miraz but by showing mercy to Glozelle and allowing him to go to England, even after everything he did. This story teaches that true leadership is not defined by power, but by courage, wisdom, and the willingness to do what is right.
